When it comes to travelling in Kenya there are seemingly two sides, safari and beach, and most will combine the two. Kenya is synonymous with safari, with the great sprawling expanse of the Maasai Mara, the iconic Maasai people and the multitude of species that roam the plains. But there are also the beach resorts, Coast region being the most popular with tourists, but offering great beaches and plenty of luxury resorts to soothe away the rigours of an exhilarating safari.
